ACRYLIC TEXTURE PROJECT

PROCESS

Step 1:
This is an empty canvas that I started with.
Step 2:
This is my half-finished acrylic work.
Step 3:
This is me showing the textures of my acrylic work. The textures are made from tapping the brush on the canvas.
MOOD RING
This is the acrylic artwork that I made. I choose the colors black and purple as the main colors in my artwork. I also added some white, red, and blue to make more complexity. There are many ways to define what the color means, some are positive while some are negative. Red can mean both love or anger. Blue at the same time means calm or sad. I named my art "Mystery" because of the color black and purple can both mean mystery or loyalty (only for purple). Also, it lets the person that is looking at the artwork to think if this artwork is considered positive or negative. I think that the power of art is that people can determine the artwork by their present emotions For example, maybe one day you're happy and you'll think the art is sending positively. Another day when you're feeling down then you look at the artwork and finds it sending negatively. Art is always the same art but it just depends on how the person thinks.
